1. Platform fee
Xend A Smile currently charges no platform fees. Donating, creating a campaign, and withdrawing funds are all free. The full donation amount goes directly to the campaign. This may change in the future, and donors will always be informed of any fees before confirming payment.
2. Campaign creator obligations
By starting a campaign you agree that: (a) the information in your campaign is truthful and accurate; (b) all funds raised will be used for the stated purpose; (c) you will explain every withdrawal on the Transparency Ledger; (d) you will respond to donor questions in good faith.
3. Transparency Ledger
Every donation and withdrawal is permanently recorded in the campaign's Transparency Ledger. These records cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including Xend A Smile administrators. This is a core feature of the platform, not a limitation.
4. KYC and withdrawals
Identity verification (KYC) is required before any withdrawal can be processed. Xend A Smile reserves the right to delay or withhold withdrawals if fraud is suspected or if KYC documents cannot be verified.
5. Prohibited campaigns
Campaigns for illegal activities, hate speech, violence, or deception are strictly prohibited. Xend A Smile may remove any campaign that violates these terms without notice.
6. Donor refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable once processed. In cases of fraud, Xend A Smile will work with affected donors to seek recovery. Contact support@xendasmile.com for disputes.
7. Liability
Xend A Smile is a platform facilitating fundraising. We are not responsible for how campaign creators use funds beyond the mechanisms we provide (Transparency Ledger, KYC, withdrawal explanations). Donors give at their own discretion.
